COST ESTIMATOR, Pompano Beach, FL. HS Dipl. + 2 yrs. exp. (estimate costs, prepare bids/estimates/change orders, track jobs, negotiate contracts, site supervision, coordinate staff) OR Bachelor Degree Equivalency prepared by a qualified US credential evaluator. Software: Sage 300, On-Screen Take Off, Quick Bid, Blue Bean. Conduct take-offs, prepare cost estimates for construction projects to aid mgt. in bids and determine project costs; collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current and future projects; consult with clients, vendors, foremen to discuss/formulate estimates, resolve discrepancies; prepare estimates to be used by mgt. to plan, organize, schedule projects; analyze blueprints/project docs. to prepare time, cost, materials, labor estimates; attend meetings, confer w/engineers, architects, owners, contractors, subcontractors to ensure accurate bids, generate reports, manage changes in project scope, communicate information to field workers; track cost data, measure project performance on large scale simultaneous projects in different locations; participate in site inspections to assess costs, quality control, project improvements; coordinate internal resources/vendors to execute projects. Must have knowledge of local building codes. Daily travel to job sites in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach.
